TIRADS classification for thyroid nodules: application in practice

Incidental detection of thyroid nodules is increasing and, although most are benign, they require further investigation. The Thyroid Imaging, Reporting and Data System (TIRADS) provides a validated framework for assessment to help determine the malignancy risk of detected nodules.
